About Me
I have extensive firsthand experience in volume production of digital heat transfer technologies, including inkjet, color laser copiers (CLC), sublimation printing and dye sublimation coating, just to name a few.
Industry Experience:
I owned and operated one of the very first companies in the US to enter the digital decorating industry utilizing 1st generation Canon Color Copy (CLC) Machines and single step heat transfers papers. From there we added on sublimation technologies as well as other printing technologies.
I owned and operated a full scale production operation producing custom printed shirts, mouse pads, mugs, caps, tote bags, ceramic tiles, etc. We specialized in producing small and large volume orders solely with digitally decorating processes.
We sold into many markets; the tourist industry, promotional product industry, ad specialty industry (ASI), Fortune 1000 companies, etc. We sold millions of dollars of these products over the years and had average yearly sales in the high six figures.
I also owned and operated a major coating facility for Dye Sublimation Tiles. Developed and utilized our own proprietary coatings for Dye Sublimation. I have a deep understanding of dye sublimation chemistry.
Special Production Experience:
· High & low volume mug printing production using mug presses, convection ovens & belt ovens.
· High & low volume ceramic tile and stone sublimation coating and printing production utilizing shuttle presses and time saving production processes.
Other Hands On Experience:
· Epson and Roland Piezo Electric Printers.
· The Manufacture, installation and repair of Bulk Ink Delivery Systems
· Repair of many models and styles of heat presses.

Education:
1985-Westinghouse Fellowship
1987-Graduate of Ely Magnet Science and Engineering School
1991-BSEE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Miami.
